Kyle Lowry Over 16.5 Points and Assists (-120)

In his first game of the season, Kyle Lowry managed four helpers and just two points while going one-for-seven from the field. In total, then, he put up six combined points and assists in a zero-for-five night from behind the arc.

The scoring can't be that bad moving forward.

numberFire's model anticipates Lowry scoring 12.0 points on 9.0 shot attempts, including 2.1 made threes. Additionally, he's slated for 6.3 assists, totaling 18.3 combined points and assists.

Last season, Lowry averaged 7.5 assists per game on 14.1 potential assists. That potential assist number ranked him 10th in the NBA.

He should keep doling out assists -- and have better scoring efficiency -- tonight.

Steven Adams Over 19.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-113)

A double-double would get to an over for this Steven Adams prop, and we can also tack on the assists, too, so there's a lot to like.

In his first game, which did go into overtime, Adams snared 14 rebounds. He did have just three points but also handed out three assists.

In an easier-than-that matchup tonight, Adams is projected for 10.1 rebounds in addition to 7.4 points and 3.7 assists (21.2 combined points, rebounds, and assists).

Though the Houston Rockets had a good showing on the glass in their opener, they were 28th in rebounding rate (48.5%) a year ago and faced an average rebounding team in the Atlanta Hawks to start the season.

Even at the 21.2 combined projection, Adams should be considered around 63.2% likely to go over here, suggesting odds of around -170.

Jusuf Nurkic Under 23.5 Points and Rebounds (-122)

I don't want to be too hard on Jusuf Nurkic because he's due for some scoring regression after a three-for-nine night to start the year.

But he did have just 7 rebounds in his 25 minutes in that game to go along with his 8 points.

Tonight, he faces the Phoenix Suns, a team slightly better than average rebounding last year (50.3%).

Nurkic, in three games against them last season, did average 11.3 points and 10.3 rebounds (a total of 21.6) on an average of 27.9 minutes.

However, he did a lot of that in a 39-minute game when he had 17 points and 13 boards. In the two others, he averaged 22.0 minutes, 8.5 points, and 8.0 boards (16.5 combined).

He's projected for 10.8 points and 9.2 rebounds in 24.6 minutes, a total of just 20.0 combined.
