Yesterday's Perfect NBA DFS Lineups: Monday 3/2/15

Ricky Rubio continued his outstanding play since the All-Star break with a triple-double against the Clippers last night.

We've truly entered the golden age of point guards over the last few years, particularly in the Western Conference. And two great ones were on display in Minnesota last night.

Chris Paul continued his torrent pace in the absence of Blake Griffin, scoring 26 points to go along with 14 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and just 1 turnover against the Timberwolves. This most recent double-double marked Paul's ninth in his last 10 games with the lone exception being a nine-assist performance against the Kings.

While many have considered the Clippers' star to be the best floor general in the league, Ricky Rubio is not often a name you hear associated with the elite at the point guard position, but he has been playing as well as anyone in the league as of late. The Timberwolves' point guard had dished out at least five assists while grabbing six or more rebounds in six straight games heading into a tough matchup with Paul last night, and he delivered an absolute gem. Rubio posted his fourth career triple-double, scoring 18 points with 12 boards and 11 dimes and a steal while turning the ball over just twice.

Point guards weren't the only players who stepped up last night. DeMar DeRozan put together one of his best games of the season with his star point guard -- Kyle Lowry -- out of commission yesterday, scoring 35 points with 9 rebounds and 5 assists in a win over the 76ers. P.J. Tucker also played what was possibly his best game of the season as well, pouring in 20 points with 14 boards and 3 assists in a losing effort against the Heat.

Tonight's slate features a number of games which will be highlighted by bench players moving up on the depth chart due to injuries to guys in front of them. With this in mind, make sure to check our optimal lineups -- which will be updated periodically throughout the day -- to see who our algorithms recommend as the best plays tonight. Also, before you finalize your lineups, take some time to read our daily fantasy NBA primer around 6:00 PM EST for a deeper dive into a few of our favorite plays on the board.
