Introducing the NBA DFS Custom Lineup Combinations Tool
If you've been a premium member with us, you're probably familiar with our Custom Optimal Lineup Tool. To you newcomers out there, this tool takes our optimized lineups -- which are put together through our daily projections -- and allows you, the user, to add or remove particular players you want or don't want to use. It's exactly what its name implies -- it's a custom optimal lineup tool.
Today, we're bringing you a new asset to add to your daily fantasy toolkit: The NBA DFS Custom Lineup Combinations Tool. Unlike the Custom Optimal Lineup Tool, the Custom Lineup Combinations Tool allows you to throw in every player you want to use in your daily lineups in a given night, and it spits out a select number of lineups you wish to generate. Rather than having one lineup, you're able to produce 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 unique ones.
Why is this important? Well, first and foremost, it allows you to use more players, which can mitigate overall risk in a given night. Using the tool can also help generate multiple tournament lineups, rather than going into a multi-entry GPP with just one optimized one. And, of course, you have complete control over the players you choose, while the tool will spit out which lineup combinations we project will score the most in a given night.
You can select a maximum of 25 players within the tool, and if you really want to use a particular player, you can lock him in to ensure he'll be in every lineup.
If you're more of a visual learner, here's how it works.
First, choose the daily fantasy site you're playing on, the number of lineups you want to generate, and the minimum amount of projected points you want each lineup to hit. In this case, I'm looking to see 15 DraftKings lineups that would be projected to score at least 200 points.
Next, I'll add the players I want to use for the night.
Then, once I click "generate lineups", 15 Draftkings-specific lineups will be created using the players I chose to use, sorted by projected fantasy points.
With a nice slate tonight, the tool will surely come in handy. Try it out now.
