3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Monday 3/28/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Keon Johnson, SG, Portland Trail Blazers ($3,800)

The Portland Trail Blazers have several players on the injury report, opening up a ton of value tonight.

Keon Johnson has been in the starting lineup for the Trail Blazers in each of the past two games, and that is the spot we should see him tonight given the volume of injuries they have. He has a very soft matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are allowing 42.58 FanDuel points per game to shooting guards (second-worst in the league). This game features a solid 223.0-point over/under and a very close 2.0-point spread, making it one of the better fantasy environments on the slate.

Johnson has taken at least 10 field goal attempts in two out of his last three games as well as a total of 12 three-point attempts in that time.

He has some solid scoring upside against a weak defense and comes in projected for 29.98 minutes and 26.2 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option on the slate.

Derrick White, PG, Boston Celtics ($5,400)

With four of the Boston Celtics' starters ruled out, Derrick White is a great value option.

Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Al Horford, and Robert Williams have all been ruled out for the Celtics tonight versus the Toronto Raptors. Yikes. This changes things dramatically for their offense and presents White as an elite value option.

This game features a 209 over/under and an 8.0-point spread in favor of the Raptors, which, in the grand scheme of things, don't matter. Yes, lower over/unders aren't ideal, but White's fantasy potential is still massive simply due to the minutes and offensive usage available tonight.

He's projected for a big 33.98 minutes and 35.6 FanDuel points, making him the fourth-best value option on the entire slate -- and the top value option among point guards.

Expect White to be among the chalkiest players on the entire slate regardless of format.

Jonathan Kuminga, SF, Golden State Warriors ($4,400)

It's another team and another value situation to attack tonight.

Add the Golden State Warriors to the list of teams that are going to be missing several players tonight. On top of Stephen Curry being out, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green are all out, opening up a ton of offensive usage. This means Jonathan Kuminga should be in the starting lineup against the Memphis Grizzlies, and the game has a 221.5-point over/under and an 11.5-point spread.

This puts Kuminga to be one of the drivers on offense for the Warriors alongside Jordan Poole, who is also a great option tonight; he's just not a value play.

Kuminga enters projected for 30.04 minutes and 27.5 FanDuel points, making him the third-best value option among small forwards tonight.
