3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Monday 3/21/22

Player props are a fun way to bet the NBA without having to worry about the zaniness that last-minute injuries can cause in terms of a spread or a game total.

Here, we'll focus on utilizing our projections and a slew of other tools and simulations to help make some cash.

For this article, we are using the odds provided at NBA Finals odds to pinpoint spots where value can be had tonight.

The prop-betting experience on FanDuel Sportsbook is getting even more fun. You can track your player props with real-time updates and place in-game props with ease.

Note: Betting lines and our player projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Luka Doncic Over 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (+102)

Luka Doncic is basically even money to hit at least four triples tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and I like his chances to do it.

Doncic has been a usage monster of late, holding a massive 36.3% usage rate over the Dallas Mavericks' last 10 games. He's also jacking up plenty of threes, taking at least 10 shots from deep in eight straight games and making at least four three-pointers in six of those eight outings.

The matchup could hardly be better for him to keep it going beyond the arc. Minnesota has permitted a three-point attempt rate of 42.7% across their past 15 games, which is the fourth-highest clip in that time. The matchup boasts a 230.0-point total and 2.0-point spread.

The stars align for Luka to have a huge night, and our model projects him to nail 3.5 three-pointers on 10.1 tries. I like rolling the dice on him to sink at least four three-balls.

Christian Wood Over 9.5 Rebounds (-102)

Christian Wood is taking on the Washington Wizards, and it's a great spot for him to do work on the glass.

Over the last five games, the Wiz are next to last in rebound rate (46.2%), and power forwards are averaging 11.5 rebounds per game against Washington over the last seven.

As for Wood, he's snagged at least 10 boards in four of his last six contests, and our algorithm projects him to finish with 10.3 rebounds on Monday night.

Bam Adebayo Under 17.5 Points (-116)

Bam Adebayo and Joel Embiid tangle tonight in a matchup between two teams that are fantastic defensively against centers. That has me on the under for Bam's points.

In their last 15 games, the Philadelphia 76ers are giving up just 20.0 points per game to centers, the second-fewest. These two teams met back on March 5, and Adebayo was held to six points in 31.3 minutes.

Bam hasn't been scoring a ton anyway, dropping in at least 18 points in only four of his last seven games.

Our projections have Adebayo right at this line as we forecast him to net 17.8 points, but given the matchup and Bam's recent scoring form, I side with the under.
