3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Monday 3/14/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Drew Eubanks, C/PF, Portland Trail Blazers ($4,300)

The Portland Trail Blazers have been a solid source of value in recent weeks, and that isn't changing tonight.

A number of injuries continue to leave the Trail Blazers shorthanded at several positions, putting Drew Eubanks in a spot to see plenty of minutes.

He comes in with 28 minutes or more in three of his last five games, posting at least 23 FanDuel points in three of those same five games.

Tonight, he has a solid matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, who are allowing 53.87 FanDuel points per game to centers, which is the 13th-most in the league. This game features a very high 230.0-point over/under and a larger 13.5-point spread in favor of the Hawks.

While the spread isn't ideal, Eubanks is still projected for 30.23 minutes and 31.40 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option on the slate, per our model, and the top value option among centers. If you aren't paying up for one of the top-tier centers, Eubanks is a great value option.

Jaden McDaniels, PF, Minnesota Timberwolves ($4,700)

The Minnesota Timberwolves are in one of the best fantasy environments on the slate versus the San Antonio Spurs.

Both teams are in the top six of the league in offensive pace and both are in the top 12 of the league for the most FanDuel points allowed per game on average to all positions combined. We see a massive 240.5-point over/under and a close 3.5-point spread, giving us all that we could ask for in a game environment.

The Timberwolves have a few injuries of their own, and we should get Jaden McDaniels in the starting lineup tonight. He comes in with 25 or more FanDuel points in six of his last seven games, scoring in double-digit real points in each of those six.

With a good matchup and a great game for fantasy production, McDaniels comes in projected for 30.11 minutes and 24.7 FanDuel points. If the game hits the over on its total, it won't be a surprise to see McDaniels fill up the stat sheet and exceed that projection.

Bojan Bogdanovic, SF/PF, Utah Jazz ($5,500)

Another game, another massive total -- this one sitting at 233.0-points for the Milwaukee Bucks visiting the Utah Jazz.

Not only do we have a high total but we get a razor-thin 1.0-point spread. That has this shaping up to be one of the games on the night.

This season, the Bucks are struggling to defend the three-pointer, specifically, allowing opponents to hit 14.1 threes per game, which is the most in the league. Bojan Bogdanovic comes in with four or more made three-pointers in five of his last six games, making this a dream matchup for him. He has scored at least 21 real points in four straight games, going for 28-plus FanDuel points in each of those games.

With eight or more three-point attempts in each of those four games, Bogdanovic has a nice ceiling to reach for.

A high over/under, a close spread, and a horrible defense from behind the arc should allow Bogdanovic to pour in three-pointers.
