3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Wednesday 3/9/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Donte DiVincenzo, SG, Sacramento Kings ($4,400)

The Sacramento Kings are taking on the Denver Nuggets with a massive 238.5-point over/under and offer some value options.

A high over/under and a close 6.5-point spread is always a great spot to look for fantasy options since the scoring expectation is so high. We can turn to Donte DiVincenzo, who comes off the bench for the Kings but continues to produce solid production every night. He comes in with 24 FanDuel points or more in five straight games and can certainly reach that level again tonight given the strong game environment.

DiVincenzo is carrying a 17.2% offensive usage rate and is producing 0.84 FanDuel points per minute, which is modest overall, but at only $4,400, he doesn't have to do a ton in order to exceed value. Exceeding value is exactly what he's projected to do tonight, as he's set to go for 30.38 minutes and 27.5 FanDuel points, making him the fourth-best value option on the slate.

Brandon Williams, PG, Portland Trail Blazers ($3,500)

With the Portland Trail Blazers still shorthanded, Brandon Williams will remain an elite value option.

As we saw the other night, the injury report for the Trail Blazers is several players long, and it leaves the available players in a spot to play heavy minutes. Williams has played 26 minutes or more in back-to-back games, highlighted by his 33 minutes and 50.6 FanDuel points the other night versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. While we can't expect 50-plus FanDuel points from him on a nightly basis, Williams being able to reach and exceed value is what we're looking for.

The matchup against the Utah Jazz has a 221.5-point over/under and a massive 18.0-point spread in favor of the home Jazz. While the spread isn't ideal, the lack of available players for the Trail Blazers should allow Williams to see plenty of minutes and continue to put him in a spot to rack up plenty of fantasy points at the minimum salary.

Mo Bamba, C, Orlando Magic ($4,700)

Mo Bamba has a solid matchup tonight versus the New Orleans Pelicans and is a value option to consider at center.

A 223.0-point over/under is a good place to start against the Pelicans, along with a favorable defensive matchup. The Pelicans are allowing 55.34 FanDuel points per game to centers, which is the eighth-worst in the league. This should put him in a good spot to produce since he is one of the more consistent players in the Orlando Magic's starting lineup.

Bamba is posting 0.96 FanDuel points per minute on a very modest 14.9% offensive usage rate. That production per minute is the second-highest among their starters behind Wendell Carter Jr.

numberFire's projections have Bamba going for 25.71 minutes and 28.2 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option for centers under $5,000.
