3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Thursday 2/3/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Drew Eubanks, C/PF, San Antonio Spurs ($4,500)

With Jakob Poeltl out for the San Antonio Spurs, Drew Eubanks should be the starting center tonight.

Eubanks has proven to be a solid fantasy replacement for Poeltl this season and comes in producing 1.16 FanDuel points per minute when he is in the starting lineup. This is why we see Eubanks ranking as the top overall point-per-dollar value option on the slate, per our model, as he is projected for 24.59 minutes and 26.4 FanDuel points.

The matchup against the Miami Heat should be a good one for DFS with a 220.5-point over/under and a close 4.0-point spread, which should allow Eubanks to reach full fantasy value.

Defensively, this is a tough matchup on paper, but at Eubanks' lower salary, he doesn't need to produce massive fantasy numbers in order to be worth the roster spot.

Isaiah Hartenstein, PF, Los Angeles Clippers ($4,100)

The Los Angeles Clippers could be without Ivica Zubac, and that would open up some value.

If Zubac is out, we could see Serge Ibaka jump into the starting lineup at the center spot, which would make Isaiah Hartenstein the first big man off the bench. When both Zubac and Ibaka are off the court this season, Hartenstein is producing 1.25 FanDuel points per minute on a 20.1% usage rate. He has proven to be very effective while on the court but generally doesn't get much run.

While his minutes are relatively modest normally, this is a spot for Hartenstein to see an increased workload if Zubac is out. Right now, Hartenstein is projected for 16.22 minutes and 20.3 FanDuel points, which is great per-minute production. However, that project accounts for Zubac being active because we are waiting on an updated injury report.

It's a strong projection to begin with and will only go up if Zubac is inactive.

Coby White, PG/SG, Chicago Bulls ($4,800)

Coby White continues to be a solid fantasy producer for the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls are still sans Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso, opening up some minutes in the rotation of their guards. This has allowed White to play 30-plus minutes in eight of his last 10 games, generally coming off the bench. We see him playing a good amount of his minutes when Zach LaVine heads to the pine, opening up plenty of offensive usage. When this is the case, White has a 23.8% offensive usage rate and is producing 0.91 FanDuel points per minute.

That production should be on full display tonight versus the Toronto Raptors in a game with a 223.0-point over/under and a very close 3.0-point spread. White comes in projected for 30.12 minutes and 24.7 FanDuel points, making him the best point-per-dollar option at point guard among players salaried under $5,000.
