3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Wednesday 1/26/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Cameron Johnson, SF, Phoenix Suns ($5,000)

The Phoenix Suns have a few injuries right now, and Cameron Johnson should be in the starting lineup again.

With four starters/key bench players out for the Suns, Cam Jonhson has jumped into the starting lineup and is posting solid fantasy numbers. When we account for all of those players being off the court, Johnson is producing 0.85 FanDuel points per minute on a modest 16.5% offensive usage rate. That is shown by his most recent game with 38 minutes and 34.2 FanDuel points. He will have a high volume of minutes but will likely be under 1.00 FanDuel points per minute.

Ultimately, that is fine production for Johnson since he is exceeding his salary-based value, which is what we want. That is where Johnson is projected tonight, set to go for 34.43 minutes and 28.5 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option among small forwards tonight.

Goga Bitadze, C, Indiana Pacers ($5,500)

A slew of injuries have hit the Indiana Pacers, and Goga Bitadze is a value to consider.

Both Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner are out for the Pacers, and that leaves them a bit shorthanded in their frontcourt. This has pushed him into the starting lineup, going for 21 minutes or more in four of his last five games, and he's posted 32 FanDuel points or more in three of those five games.

The matchup tonight against the Charlotte Hornets should allow him to reach those levels again, since the Hornets are allowing 57.26 FanDuel points per game to opposing centers, which is the third-worst in the league.

This is setting up to be a great fantasy matchup since the Pacers (19th) are playing up in pace against the Hornets (2nd), who are on the of the fastest teams in the league. We also see this game with a very solid 228.0-point over/under and a close 2.0-point spread, making this a clear game to target tonight.

Keldon Johnson, PF/SF, San Antonio Spurs ($5,300)

The San Antonio Spurs versus Memphis Grizzlies is an elite fantasy matchup tonight.

With a large 228.5-point over/under and both teams in the top seven of the league in offensive pace, we are looking at a prime game for fantasy production.

There's no injury situation we need to be worried about for the Spurs, it's simply a great matchup to attack, and Keldon Johnson is only $5,300. He enters producing 0.95 FanDuel points per minute with a 21.1% offensive usage rate, the latter of which is the second-highest on the Spurs.

He comes in projected for 31.85 minutes and 26.9 FanDuel points, but he can certainly vault over that projection if this game surpasses its 228.0-point total.
