3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Wednesday 11/24/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Cory Joseph, PG, Detroit Pistons ($4,100)

The Detroit Pistons are dealing with a few injuries and suspensions, opening up playing time for Cory Joseph.

Isaiah Stewart is suspended for one more game, Kelly Olynyk is out for multiple weeks, and Killian Hayes is still out with a thumb injury. This has pushed Joseph into the starting lineup, playing 29 minutes or more in each of his last four games. He's posted 20 FanDuel points or more in each of those games.

Even though the Pistons are 15-point underdogs against the Milwaukee Bucks, this game has a solid 214.5-point over/under and sees the Pistons (20th) playing up in pace.

Not to mention, the matchup is solid for Joseph since the Bucks are allowing the seventh-most (49.16) FanDuel points per game to point guards. All of this has Joseph projected for 36.09 minutes and 27.9 FanDuel points, making him the top overall value option on the slate.

Daniel Gafford, C, Washington Wizards ($4,800)

With a soft matchup, Daniel Gafford could be in for plenty of fantasy production tonight.

Gafford is splitting time with Montrezl Harrell at center for the Washington Wizards, and they don't play on the court at the same time. That is important to note since we can look at Gafford's production strictly during that time, where he is posting 1.07 FanDuel points per minute on a modest 17.0% offensive usage rate.

His ability to rack up the rebounds and add in a few blocks gives him consistent production even when he isn't scoring a ton of real points, too.

We could see all of that tonight versus the New Orleans Pelicans -- a team worth attacking in NBA DFS nearly every night. The Pelicans come in allowing the sixth-most (56.76) FanDuel points per game to opposing centers.

Gafford comes in projected for 24.22 minutes and 26.7 FanDuel points, making him the fourth-best value option among centers.

Patty Mills, SG, Brooklyn Nets ($4,800)

If Patty Mills is going to be in the starting lineup for the Brooklyn Nets, I'm going to look to him as a value option.

Joe Harris and Bruce Brown Jr. are both out for the Nets, allowing Mills to be in the starting lineup. He's played 31 minutes or more in five straight games. Mills has posted 26 FanDuel points or more in three of those five games, providing fantasy value along the way.

Tonight, he will be up against the Boston Celtics. The total is set at 216 points with a spread of half a point. We are in for an extremely close game with plenty of scoring since both teams are in the top half of the league in offensive pace.

Despite sharing the court with Kevin Durant and James Harden, Mills is still managing to take double-digit field goal attempts in four of the past five games, with eight-plus three-point attempts in those same four games.

The scoring upside will be there for Mills given the shot volume he is seeing every night.
