3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Thursday 11/18/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at two players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Raul Neto, PG, Washington Wizards ($3,800)

With Spencer Dinwiddie set to rest tonight, Raul Neto should see an expanded role.

The Wizards are on the second night of a back-to-back and with Dinwiddie expected to rest, Neto could either be in the starting lineup or see more minutes off the bench. Extra minutes should bode well for Neto, who is producing 0.77 FanDuel points per minute when Dinwiddie is off the court this season. That isn't massive, but Neto is projected to play 30.49 minutes and produce 25.4 FanDuel points, which has him as the top overall value option on the slate.

Despite this game against the Miami Heat having a 207.5-point over/under, Neto should be a decently chalky option given his expanded minutes and very affordable salary.

Desmond Bane, SG, Memphis Grizzlies ($4,600)

A high 221-point over/under and a close 1.0-point spread make the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies a great spot to target tonight.

This is setting up to be an ideal game environment for fantasy production with both teams in the top seven of the league in offensive pace. This should make many of the value options in this game worth targeting, and Desmond Bane should be near the top of the list. The Clippers are allowing 39.80 FanDuel points per game to shooting guards -- the 14th in the league this season. Despite being known for their defense in the past few seasons, the Clippers are a very average team to start the year.

With a strong game environment and a solid matchup, Bane is projected for 30.25 minutes and 23.6 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option among shooting guards tonight.

Aaron Gordon, PF, Denver Nuggets ($5,100)

The Denver Nuggets are still dealing with a few injuries, and Aaron Gordon is still a valuable option.

The Nuggets find themselves as 7.0-point home favorites against the Philadelphia 76ers, who are struggling on defense this season. Philly comes in allowing the third-most (49.44) FanDuel points per game to power forwards, making this a favorable matchup for Gordon. With his double-digit shot attempts on a nightly basis, Gordon has some solid scoring upside to go along with his nearly six rebounds per game.

His point-per-dollar value is very strong tonight given his projection of 33.13 minutes and 30.9 FanDuel points. That projection makes him the second-best value play on the entire slate and has him exceed his salary-based value. While a 209.0-point over/under isn't amazing, Gordon has a very favorable opponent to attack tonight.
