NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Tuesday 11/16/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at two players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Isaiah Hartenstein, PF, Los Angeles Clippers ($4,000)

The Los Angeles Clippers run a tight rotation of players, and it presents Isaiah Hartenstein as a strong value option.

With only three games on the slate, the value options are limited, but Hartenstein is one you should be focused on. In most games, the Clippers are using three main bench players -- Terance Mann, Luke Kennard, and Hartenstein -- which makes identifying their value options a bit easier. Tonight, Terance Mann is listed as questionable, which could open up even more minutes for Hartenstein if Mann were to miss this game.

Hartenstein is currently projected for 17.83 minutes and 21.4 FanDuel points, making him the fourth-best value option on the entire slate. The matchup is also fantastic for Harenstein since the San Antonio Spurs are allowing the second-most (50.64) FanDuel points per game to power forwards. This game has a 220-point over/under and sees both teams in the top 11 of the league in offensive pace, presenting a strong fantasy environment.

All of this should allow Hartenstein to reach and exceed that projection, making him an awesome value option tonight.

Derrick White, PG/SG, San Antonio Spurs ($5,200)

Derrick White is another value option you should consider tonight.

Over his last five games, White has managed to post 23.8 FanDuel points or more three times, and he isn't even playing super strong. Let me put that in context. White has posted 10 real points or fewer in four of these five games, and he has shot under 30% from the field in three of the five. Yet he is producing 0.96 FanDuel points per minute this season due to his ability to fill up the stat sheet.

While White is going through a slight rough patch when it comes to shooting, he is still providing plenty of fantasy value. Once White is able to get hot from the field, he will be in for a ceiling-type performance due to his consistency in the other stat categories.

The Clippers are allowing opposing shooting guards to score 22.20 real points per game, which is the 14th most in the league. With a 220-point over/under, there's plenty of scoring potential for White in this matchup.
