NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Wednesday 6/16/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Reggie Jackson, PG, Los Angeles Clippers ($4,800)

With Kawhi Leonard OUT for tonight's game, someone on the Los Angeles Clippers will have to step up the scoring.

In a bit of a shock, Leonard was ruled out this morning, and he is without a timetable for return. This changes the dynamic of their offense and it should result in more offensive usage and scoring for Reggie Jackson. Thus far in the playoffs, Jackson is averaging 15.2 points per game, which is the third-highest on the team behind Leonard (30.4) and Paul George (24.9). It sounds crazy to say, but Jackson is the second-best offensive option for the Clippers right now.

This is reflected in his projection, where he is set to go for 30.61 minutes and 25.8 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option who is under $5,000. Given the fact we have seen two of the four games hit the over in this series, that projection for Jackson could be a little bit low, and seeing him push past 30 FanDuel points wouldn't be a surprise.

Seth Curry, SG, Philadelphia 76ers ($5,100)

Seth Curry has been super consistent versus the Atlanta Hawks and should be in all of your lineups.

In the first four games of this series, Curry has scored 23.8 FanDuel points or more in every game, making him a near must-play on a nightly basis. Curry comes in with 17 points or more in three of the four games, 3 made three-pointers or more in three of the four games, and 31 minutes or more in three of the four games. Outside of the Philadelphia 76ers' big three, Curry is the most consistent option on the roster and maybe the best value option on the entire slate.

This game features a solid 223.5 over/under and a 6.5-point spread in favor of the 76ers. Curry's three-point ability will always give him plenty of upside, allowing him to reach or exceed value quickly.
