NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Monday 6/7/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Blake Griffin, PF, Brooklyn Nets ($5,100)

The Brooklyn Nets are going to be without James Harden and that opens up some offensive usage for the rest of the lineup.

Harden played just a single minute in Game 1, causing the Nets to turn to their role players for extra scoring. Blake Griffin stepped up with 18 points and 14 rebounds, for a total of 42.3 FanDuel points. While Griffin isn't projected to hit the same level tonight, he is still expected to exceed his salary-based value. numberFire's projections have Griffing going for 30.11 minutes and 26.0 FanDuel points, making him the best-projected value option under $5.5K.

The game against the Milwaukee Bucks features a strong 236.5-point over/under and a 1.0-point spread. The expectation of more scoring should put Griffin in a good spot to rack up plenty of fantasy points, especially if he is able to knock down shots from three-point range as he did in Game 1. Speaking of three-pointers, the Bucks were dead last in the NBA for the most (14.7) three-pointers allowed per game this season. All in all, this is a great spot for Griffin to provide secondary scoring for the Nets.

Facundo Campazzo, PG, Denver Nuggets ($5,000)

If you want to find value at point guard tonight, Facundo Campazzo could be the answer.

The first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers ended in six games and saw the Denver Nuggets move on to the next round. As the new starting point guard for the Nuggets, Campazzo was able to fill up the stat sheet en route to 21 FanDuel points or more in five of the six games. He scored double-digit real points in four of the five games and crossed the 30-FanDuel-point level three times.

At only $5,000, Campazzo has proven to be a strong value option at point guard, which is a surprisingly strong position tonight. If other players are looking to spend up at point guard, take the savings with Campazzo and lock in plenty of fantasy production.
