3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Tuesday 5/11/21

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash) to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball. Here we'll focus on utilizing our projections and a slew of other tools to help make money betting player props.

For this article, we are using the odds provided at NBA Finals odds to pinpoint spots where value can be had tonight.

Please note that betting lines and our player projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Nikola Jokic Over 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (+130)

While Nikola Jokic isn't usually a high-volume three-point shooter, this is a great spot to bet on him to make multiple triples. That's because his opponent tonight -- the Charlotte Hornets -- allows a three-point attempt rate of 45.0%, the second-highest in the league.

Jokic has jacked up at least four three-point tries in two of his last four games, so he's got some decent three-point volume of late. He's hit at least two treys in five of his last eight games.

We project Jokic to make 1.4 three-pointers against Charlotte. With +130 on the over and -166 on the under, I like rolling the dice on the over.

Devin Booker Under 27.5 Points (-112)

The Golden State Warriors have done a good job limiting the scoring of opposing two-guards, and that leads me to the under on Devin Booker's points prop.

For the season. the Dubs are holding shooting guards to 21.8 points per night, the sixth-fewest. That's held true over Golden State's last 15 games, as well, as the Warriors are giving up 21.8 points per game in that time.

Booker has been cold over his past two, scoring 16 and 21 points, but that came on the heels of four straight games in which he dropped at least 30 points. He's scoring 25.5 per game for the season and had 16 in his lone matchup with Golden State this season.

Our model has Booker netting 26.9 points tonight.

Kyrie Irving Under 5.5 Rebounds (-144)

Over his last three games, Kyrie Irving has totaled zero, five and three boards. For the season, he's pulling down 4.8 rebounds per game. In 11 games this year without James Harden and Caris LeVert but with Kevin Durant, Irving has averaged 4.1 rebounds.

On top of all that, tonight's matchup with the Chicago Bulls doesn't look like one in which Irving will be doing a lot of board work. The Bulls permit just 11.8 rebounds per game to opposing frontcourts.

We project Irving to snag 4.8 rebounds on Tuesday.
