Why Jimmy Butler Is Underrated
Jimmy Butler is proving why he's one of the most valuable players in the NBA.

Ever since the Bulls drafted him with the number one overall pick in the 2008 draft, everything in Chicago has revolved around MVP piece earlier this week. But Butler sets himself apart with his superhuman ability to play over 40 minutes per game. Only Reggie Jackson has averaged more minutes per contest. Usually the metrics favor players who play fewer minutes per game (See Brandan Wright, the king of advanced analytics), but not in the case of Jimmy Butler.

You may not see his name up in lights, but Butler is putting up MVP-type numbers and proving why he's one of the most underrated players in the NBA.
