3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Friday 2/26/21

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash) to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball. Here we'll focus on utilizing our projections and a slew of other tools to help make money betting player props.

For this article, we are using the odds provided at Online Sportsbook to pinpoint spots where value can be had tonight.

Please note that betting lines and our player projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Jordan Clarkson Over 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (+118)

Jordan Clarkson has hit at least four three-pointers in four of his past five games, and he is on the road tonight versus the Miami Heat, a team that has been a delightful matchup for long-range bombers.

Miami's defense is allowing a 47.1% three-point attempt rate, the highest clip in the league. Opposing shooting guards are averaging 3.8 made triples per night versus Miami on 10.5 tries per game.

Clarkson is averaging 9.5 three-point attempts per game in February, and he's making triples at a much better clip this season on the road (41.2%) than at home (35.7%).

Our model has Clarkson right on this line, projecting him to make 3.5 three-pointers. With the under priced at -150, I lean toward the over.

Kevon Looney Over 4.5 Rebounds (-144)

Kevon Looney has snagged at least five boards in three of his last four games, and he's pulled down five-plus rebounds in each of the past five games in which he's played 17 minutes. The hangup, however, is that Looney has logged 17-plus minutes just four times in his past seven outings.

The matchup tonight should help Looney get to the over on this prop. The Charlotte Hornets are surrendering the seventh-most rebounds per game to opposing frontcourts (33.2), and this game will be a pace-up spot for the Hornets, who are 15th in pace while the Golden State Warriors rank 2nd.

We project Looney for 4.6 rebounds in 18.8 minutes.

Ja Morant Over 18.5 Points (-116)

The Los Angeles Clippers have had trouble containing point guards this season, especially when it comes to scoring. The Clips have given up the fourth-most points per game to floor generals (27.7), putting Ja Morant in a good spot to fill it up.

Morant's scoring has been all over the place of late. His point totals over his last four are 16, 22, 12 and 29. The 16-point effort last time out came against the Clippers, and he probably could've done more damage if he'd gotten more run than the 29 minutes he saw, with the Memphis Grizzlies' 30-point win limiting his burn.

Our projections have Morant scoring 19.5 points tonight, narrowly going over this line.
