3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 2/18/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Tyrese Haliburton, SG, Sacramento Kings ($5,500)

The Sacramento Kings are hosting the Miami Heat tonight with a very solid 227-point over/under and primed for plenty of fantasy production.

The Heat are on the second night of a back-to-back and find themselves in a potentially rough spot. This season, the Heat are allowing opposing teams to make the second-most (15.2) three-pointers per game, which is the spot we want to attack. Kings rookie Tyrese Haliburton is shooting 44.3% from downtown this season, which is the 14th highest in the league among players who have played more than 20 games. Haliburton is averaging 5.2 three-point attempts per game, giving him a clear path to upside in this matchup.

While Haliburton comes off the bench for the Kings, he is still managing a 21.4% usage rate while producing 1.02 FanDuel points per minute. Haliburton also sees a good number of minutes when De'Aaron Fox is off the floor, which boosts his production up to 1.17 FanDuel points per minute.

Donte DiVincenzo, SG, Milwaukee Bucks ($5,100)

With Donte DiVincenzo in the starting lineup for the Milwaukee Bucks, we can look to him for a bit of value tonight.

Jrue Holiday is still out for Milwaukee, and that shifts DiVincenzo from shooting guard to point guard, but he's still a value play. In the Bucks' current starting lineup, DiVincenzo has the second-highest (20.2%) usage rate and is producing the third-most (0.95) FanDuel points per minute. This has helped lead DiVincenzo to produce 25 FanDuel points or more in four of his last five games. With a slate-high 235.5 over/under against the Toronto Raptors, that level of production is very obtainable tonight.

Both the Bucks and the Raptors are in the league's top 12 for the fastest offensive-paced teams, which should set this game up for plenty of scoring and plenty of fantasy production. This gives DiVincenzo a projection of 30.73 minutes and 27.4 FanDuel points, making him the third-best value tonight.

Marc Gasol, C, Los Angeles Lakers ($5,100)

The Brooklyn Nets are struggling on defense this season, and we should always be looking to attack them.

When it comes to big men this season, the Nets are struggling to guard them, to say the least. The Nets are allowing the fourth-most (57.20) FanDuel points per game to opposing centers, giving anyone going against them a path to upside. While Gasol only holds an 11.1% usage rate within the Los Angeles Lakers' current starting lineup, he is producing 1.02 FanDuel points per minute. That usage rate is the lowest among the Lakers' starters, but the point-per-minute production is the second-highest.

That is very encouraging and shows that he can be very effective whenever he happens to get touches on the ball. With a 232-point total and both teams in the top half of the league for faster offensive-paced teams, this game should have plenty of fantasy potential.
