NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Tuesday 10/6/20

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measure a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money betting everyday player props.

For this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

LeBron James, Over 47.5 PRA (-111)

LeBron James has done it all for the Los Angeles Lakers in his first NBA Finals with them, and that's nothing new for LeBron. In his last three NBA Finals, he's averaged more than 47.5 points, rebounds and assists (PRA) -- with the lowest total being 49.9 PRA in 2015-16.

Thus far, in three games of this year's finals, LeBron is averaging 27.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 8.7 assists in a touch more than 38.0 minutes per game. The King has shot better than 50% in all three Finals games and in eight of the last 10 games overall.

In a pivotal game, expect LeBron to see all the minutes he can handle. numberFire's model projects LeBron to record 27.6 points, 10.5 assists, and 9.7 rebounds in 38.5 minutes -- a total of 47.8 PRA.

Jae Crowder, Over 11.5 Points (-112)

Jae Crowder's role has increased since Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo went down with injuries. The Miami Heat have called on Crowder for not only his defensive efforts but his three-point shooting in this series.

Crowder has made 58.3% of his field-goal attempts and 49.6% of his three-point attempts in the three games in this series. In the Eastern Conference Finals, Crowder averaged 11.7 points per game versus the Boston Celtics, totaling three games of at least 12 points.

In the Eastern semifinals, Crowder averaged a postseason-high of 15.0 points per game, and overall this postseason, he's averaged 12.3 points over 31.0 minutes in 18 games. In his two regular-season games versus the Lakers, he averaged 15 points per game, registering a nine-point game and 21-point effort. He's scored 12 or more in three straight and four of the last five games overall.

Crowder played 34 minutes in the previous game and should see plenty of run once again. numberFire's model forecasts Crowder to score 12.0 points in 31.5 minutes.
