NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Friday 9/25/20

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measure a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money betting everyday player props.

For this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Jayson Tatum, Over 25.5 Points

Jayson Tatum had a first half to remember in Game 4, and it wasn't a good memory. He finished with zero points and seven rebounds in the opening half before exploding in the third and fourth quarters. Tatum has scored 28 or more points in two of four games versus the Miami Heat in the ECF, including 28 exactly in Game 4.

In the postseason, he's averaged 25.5 points and 10.2 rebounds across 15 total games. He's averaging 26.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in the first four game of this series. When Tatum plays 40 or more minutes this postseason, which he's done in nine games, he's averaging 28.0 points. numberFire's model predicts Tatum to record 27.0 points tonight.

Bam Adebayo, Over 32.5 Combined Points, Rebounds and Assists

Bam Adebayo has led the team in rebounding nine of the 13 postseason games, paced Miami in assists six times, and led them in scoring twice. In Game 3 of the ECF, he went over this points, rebounds, assist (PRA) total of 32.5 and finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists, his third-straight double-double. He played 41 minutes in the previous game, his second 40-minute outing of the series.

When Adebayo tops 40 minutes versus the Boston Celtics, he's averaged 19.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in two playoff games. In his three total postseason performances in which he's logged 40-plus minutes, Adebayo averages 21.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 7.3 assists in his three total 40-minute games in the playoffs. He's terrorized Daniel Theis in the paint, and the Celtics have had issues containing him with Enes Kanter and Robert Williams.

I'm expecting Adebayo to continue his double-double streak and reach four straight versus Boston. numberFire's model predicts him to keep that run going with 17.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in 38.3 minutes.
