3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 2/6/20

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Chandler Hutchison, SF, Chicago Bulls ($4,500)

Chandler Hutchison comes in as our second-best value play on the slate. Let's take a look at why.

The Chicago Bulls are still dealing with a ton of injuries among their frontcourt and need the players they have available to play big minutes. We have Hutchison projected for 31.9 minutes tonight, set to go for 29.2 FanDuel points -- exceeding value in a big way. This shouldn't be too much of a surprise since the overall game environment is projected to be very fantasy-friendly. The Bulls are playing up in pace (ranked 16th) against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are the fourth-fastest team in the league.

The Pelicans come into this game allowing 40.8 FanDuel points per game to small forwards -- 10th-most in the league -- and have seen that jump to 49.4 in the last week, albeit in a small sample. Hutchison is under $5K, in the starting lineup, playing 30 minutes a game, and has a great matchup tonight. He's one of the best values on the slate.

Derrick Favors, PF, New Orleans Pelicans ($5,000)

If you listen to The Daily Iso, you should know this is a very clear spot to attack.

Attacking Chicago via big men is one of my main points to trust. This is due to the fact the Bulls are allowing the most FanDuel points per game (49.1) to power forwards and the second-most (56.3) FanDuel points per game to centers. They're absolutely terrible on defense versus those two positions, and you should look to have exposure to any team going against them.

Favors is listed as a power forward but is actually the starting center for the Pelicans, so just take note of that.

With a 231-point over/under -- the second-highest on the slate -- we are in a great spot to see some back and forth action, considering both teams are opposed to playing anything resembling defense this season. Favors is projected for 24 minutes and 27.3 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value play among power forwards tonight.

Shake Milton, PG, Philadelphia 76ers ($4,300)

With a few injuries to the Philadelphia 76ers roster, we've seen Shake Milton starting at shooting guard in recent games.

Josh Richardson is still out for Philly and with him being out, Milton has played 22 minutes or more in six straight games. Milton is now in the starting lineup for Philly, who are facing down a familiar opponent tonight, the Milwaukee Bucks.

From a real-life basketball perspective, this should be a great game, and from a fantasy perspective, we can find value here. Milton comes in as our third-best value play on the slate, regardless of position. We have only five games tonight, so he should be relatively popular given his secure minutes and price tag.

He's projected for under one FanDuel points per minute -- 28 minutes and 25 FanDuel points -- but we know that most of the offensive usage will go to Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons for the 76ers. Take the savings, take the minutes, and take a player who is going to exceed value tonight.
