DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Helper: Wednesday 2/5/20
Can Collin Sexton continue his hot streak against Oklahoma City? Who else should you target tonight on DraftKings?

With nine games to choose from on tonight's NBA slate, let's take a look at how to utilize the DFS possibilities.

Here are some of the top plays and sleepers on DraftKings. As always, good luck.

Point Guard

Collin Sexton ($6,500) -- Sexton's streak of 20-point games has reached five straight, and he's recorded 30 or more fantasy points in each of those for the Cavaliers. With the help of his scoring streak, he's improved his fantasy average to 38.40 in the last five games (from 29.54). He's currently averaging more fantasy points per game in his last five than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($7,200) and Ja Morant ($6,800). Sexton had 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in the first game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder this season, and 18.5 points., 6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in two games against them in his rookie campaign.

Trae Young ($10,1000) -- Young averages the third-most fantasy points per minute on the slate tonight (1.56) and faces a Minnesota Timberwolves team that allows the second-most real-life points per game to point guards (26.23). Overall, the Wolves allow the eighth-most fantasy points per game to point guards (49.39), and Young is averaging 52.45 over his last five contests. Young had five straight double-doubles before failing to register one in either of his last two games. His usage rating has climbed to a whopping 39.04% over the last five games, the most among all players tonight. numberFire's model projects Young to be the second-leading scorer tonight with 27.5 points, 8.7 assists, and 4.6 rebounds.

Shooting Guard

Dennis Schroder ($6,700) -- Schroder is averaging 41.10 fantasy points over his last five games, compared to his 31.66 season average -- that's an increase of 29.80% despite his usage rating dropping 7.30%. Schroder has recorded 35 or more fantasy points in 9 of his last 10 games and scored 20-plus real-life points in seven consecutive games for the Thunder. He's averaged 32.6 minutes per game over his last five and increased his fantasy points per minute significantly to 1.26 (from 0.96). The Cavaliers allow the most fantasy points per game (52.17) to opposing point guards on the season. Schroder is better all-around at home, averaging 32.9 fantasy points, compared to 30.3 on the road. He recorded 31 fantasy points versus Cleveland earlier in the season posting 22 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds.

Dillon Brooks ($5,700) -- Brooks has averaged 1.09 fantasy points per minute over his last 10 games, and with Luka Doncic out, he will match up against Jalen Brunson and Tim Hardaway Jr. The Grizzlies guard has scored in double-digits in seven straight games and recorded 30 or more fantasy points in five of them. The Mavericks allow the eighth-most assists per game to shooting guards (4.91), and Brooks is coming off a five-assist performance in his last game, his most in 11 contests. If his passing gets going, he's going to continue to be a solid sleeper option.

Small Forward

Michael Porter Jr. ($5,400) -- Porter Jr. posted two straight double-doubles before sitting out last night's contest versus Portland. He is listed as day-to-day and should be considered questionable for tonight. Porter Jr. has the fourth-most fantasy points per minute over his last five games of all active forwards tonight (1.32). He's recorded over 30 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games, despite averaging 16.7 on the season. The Nuggets could choose to rest Jamal Murray ($5,900) on a back-to-back and play Porter Jr. if he's up to the task. I like either player to have successful nights if they suit up, and Will Barton ($6,200) is a solid option if Murray or Porter Jr. don't go on the second night of a back-to-back.

Andrew Wiggins ($7,400) -- Wiggins name is floating around trade rumors, but he remains on the court for the Wolves -- for now. He's averaged 28.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4 assists over his last three home games and has a favorable matchup hosting Atlanta. The Hawks allow the most fantasy points per game to small forwards (47.38) by three points. They're giving up 23.62 real-life points (most), 8.47 rebounds (sixth-most), and 4.46 assists per game (third-most). Wiggins is averaging 1.07 fantasy minutes per game over his last five, compared to 0.95 on the season -- that should continue to increase versus the Hawks' leaky defense.

Power Forward

Christian Wood ($4,700) -- Wood has scored in double-digits in three of his last four games, as well as 7 of his last 10. Wood is coming off a 32.75-point fantasy performance against Memphis and hosting the Phoenix Suns tonight should be easier offensively for him. The Suns rank 19th in points allowed to power forwards (22.48), and if Derrick Rose is out, Detroit will need assistance scoring. Wood averages 1.18 fantasy points per minute on the season and should have opportunities to score with Andre Drummond ($9,300) and Deandre Ayton ($8,300) battling down low.

Kristaps Porzingis ($8,300) -- Porzingis is averaging 1.31 fantasy points per minute in his last five games, and without Doncic, that should continue to increase each night. The Grizzlies are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to power forwards (49.85), and Porzingis has averaged 37.85 fantasy points over his last five games. In his last two games without Doncic, he's averaged 57.5 fantasy points on 36.5 points and 12 rebounds. numberFire projects Porzingis at 37 fantasy points tonight with 18.8 points and 9.1 rebounds, as he'll try and replicate his recent success against Memphis.

Center

DeAndre Jordan ($4,700) -- Jordan put together solid performances in his last two games for the Brooklyn Nets on limited minutes. In just 21.5 minutes per game, he's recorded 8 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists on 7 combined shot attempts. He draws the Golden State Warriors, who rank eighth against centers in points per game (20.29), and second-worst allowing a whopping 17.22 rebounds per game. There are a couple of front-court duos you wouldn't want to face in the paint, Jarrett Allen and Jordan are one of those duos.

Jonas Valanciunas ($7,500) -- Valanciunas had one of the best games of the season on Monday against Detroit, posting 26 points, 17 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 assists, and 59.75-fantasy points in the win. Only Nikola Jokic ($9,700) and Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,600) own a higher fantasy points per minute average over the last five games than Valanciunas (1.42). He's averaged 41.55 fantasy points over his last five games, a 20.34% increase. The Mavs allow 51.37 fantasy points to centers, the seventh-best in the league. It'll be a great matchup to watch between he and Porzingis, but I'm expecting Valanciunas to put up his fair share of fantasy numbers. numberFire's model projects the Grizzlies center to record 15 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in Dallas.
