3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Monday 12/9/19

Can Paul George score enough to hit the over against his former team? What player prop bets do our models like for tonight's slate?

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Markelle Fultz, Under 12.5 Points

Markelle Fultz has made headlines as his play has picked up for the Magic, and he's shown flashes as to why he was the number one pick. Tonight the 11-11 Magic travel to Milwaukee to take on the top-seeded Bucks. That means that Orlando will most likely be heading back home under .500 and preparing to take on the Lakers and Rockets. Fultz has averaged 14 points over his last five games and 14.5 over his last 10. He's surely been playing the best basketball of his NBA career, but with three NBA Finals-caliber teams on the schedule this week, I don't see Fultz scoring 10 or more points in each of his next three games -- unless it's in garbage time.

Our model projects Fultz with 11.4 points tonight on 4.5 field goals made. Fultz went two of six for five points in 19 minutes against the Bucks at home on November 1st.

Paul George, Over 24.5 Points

Paul George and the Clippers are on the road in Indiana tonight for a date with the Pacers. This would be just another game if George didn't spend seven years with the Pacers. Now in his 10th season in the NBA, George is on his best team yet and has started December shooting 48.3 percent from three and 51.5 percent from the field. He's averaging 24 points with 4 three-pointers per game over that stretch, and that can be bad news for the Pacers, who have allowed their opponent to score 100-plus points in nine straight games.

Our models are projecting George to score 22.1 points, but I like the over tonight.

Russell Westbrook, Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Russell Westbrook has had three-straight triple-doubles for the Rockets and has averaged 20.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 10.7 assists during that stretch. Westbrook is averaging 22.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 8.0 assists over his last 10 games and has totaled 40 or more points, rebounds, and assists in 4 of those 10. In his first game against the Kings, Westbrook is vying for a chance for his fourth consecutive triple-double. He hasn't shot the ball over his past three games, going 24 for 75 from the field (32%).

Our model projects Westbrook with 24.6 points, 8.5 assists, and 8.3 rebounds -- which would result in him hitting the over.
