3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Wednesday 11/27/19

Coming off a career-worst game, Joel Embiid should bounce back in a nice matchup with the Kings. Will he hit his player props for points and boards?

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

LeBron James, Over 37.5 Points + Assists

LeBron James is leading the league in assists (11.0) and has been on a tear during the Lakers' eight-game winning-streak. LeBron is averaging 26.8 points, 11.0 assists, and 6.3 rebounds over the eight games. He has totaled 35 combined points and assists in six of his last eight games, and he's scored 23 or more points in seven of eight. The King's over/under in points is 26.5 tonight, and his assists line is at 11.0.

Our models have Lebron projected to score 29.8 points with 10.0 assists tonight in a great matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans, forecasting him to hit the over on this one.

Joel Embiid, Over 24.5 Points

Joel Embiid, Over 12.5 Rebounds

Joel Embiid is coming off his worst game in a very long time, potentially his entire career -- an 0-for-11 effort. On the year, Embiid has scored more than 25 points only four times and hasn't done so since November 15th. But playing at home has been a huge boon to both Embiid and his squad.

The 76ers are 7-0 at home, and Embiid is averaging 22.3 points and 12.3 rebounds in his last three home games. The Kings, tonight's foe, are 21st in defensive net rating (110.3), 23rd in rebounding percentage (48.8%) and 28th in pace factor (98.50). Expect Embiid to make an immediate impact on the boards and scoring for the 76ers tonight.

Our model has him narrowly going under on these lines -- projecting him for 24.3 points and 11.9 rebounds. But I like Embiid's matchup with the Kings, and after going 0 for 11 from the field and 0 for 3 from the free throw line in his last outing, he'll likely be extra geared up for this matchup.
