3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Monday 11/11/19

In what's expected to be a high-scoring game between the Rockets and Pelicans, should we expect another strong performance from Clint Capela tonight?

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Pascal Siakam, Under 35.5 Points + Rebounds

Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors are playing their third game in four days as the Raptors continue their three-game road winning streak into Staples Center for the second consecutive night.

This time they play the Los Angeles Clippers after beating the Los Angeles Lakers 113-104 last night. Without Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka, you might think Siakam would be due for a big night, but twice the Raptors have played three games in four days, and he's gone under the 35.5 total both times. After a season-high 42 minutes against the Lakers in regulation, Siakam reaching that total in the second night of back-to-back is unlikely.

Siakam has averaged 27.4 points and 9.4 rebounds this season and posted 24 points and 11 rebounds last night versus the Lakers. Our model projects Siakam at 22.4 points and 8.3 rebounds tonight, hitting the under.

Mike Conley, Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Mike Conley has picked his play up after a sluggish start with the Utah Jazz but has found his stride in the past five games. Conley is averaging 18.2 points, 3.0 assists, and 3.0 rebounds over his last five and has scored 15 or more in four of those contests. He's attempting 14 shots a game and has 31 total three-pointers over their 3-2 five game stretch.

They play the Golden State Warriors on the road tonight and good news for Conley, the Warriors are last in the NBA in defensive rating (116.6) and 28th in net rating (-9.2) compared to the Jazz's NBA-best defensive rating (97.8) in part to Conley's arrival.

The Jazz are the NBA's 27th-ranked team in pace (101.1) compared to the Warriors (105.1), the 14th-ranked team. If D'Angelo Russell and the Warriors try to run and push the pace to their game expect Conley and Donovan Mitchell to capitalize on turnovers.

Our model projects Conley to finish with 17.4 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.0 rebounds totaling 26.3, hitting the over.

Clint Capela, Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Capela has been on a tear recently, averaging 15.0 points, 16.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists over his last three games -- all wins for the Houston Rockets.

On the road versus the New Orleans Pelicans tonight, Capela has a favorable matchup again down low. The Pelicans counter with Derrick Favors and Brandon Ingram defensively, who have contributed to the NBA's second-worst defensive rated club (113.3). Meanwhile, Houston is second in offensive rating (117.7) and first in pace (107.67) through nine games, so tonight's over/under is up at 245.0.

Expect both teams to take shots at will and Capela to eclipse his 11.3 shot attempts per game. Our model projects a big night for Capela at 18.5 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists, hitting the over. Capela has 11 assists on the season and his point and rebound total is 27.5 if you don't believe in his ability to pass the ball tonight.

Happy Veterans Day and thank you to all who served!
