FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Helper: Thursday 10/31/19
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

Point Guard
With no Young, the top options in salary are Lonzo Ball ($7,400) and Jamal Murray ($7,100). Ball has a 19.7% usage rate when sharing the court with Holiday, who should suit up. Murray projects better and has played 31 or more minutes in all four games with no fewer than 13 shot attempts. Even while his fantasy production has been held in check, he has returned 0.91 FanDuel points per minute.
The premier values at point guard are coming from the Los Angeles Clippers, as both Patrick Beverley ($5,400) and Landry Shamet ($4,600) project as the two best adjusted values in my model. Beverley has played at least 25 minutes in every game, and Shamet has hit 33 minutes in four straight but boasts a lowly 12.1% usage rate (Beverley's is only 15.6%). The minutes are there even though they aren't the most productive players.
