NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 3/24/19
James Harden is scorching hot, and a matchup with the Pelicans gives him a great chance to stay ablaze. Which other players should you roster on Sunday's main slate?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 7:00 p.m. EST and features four games.

Best of the Best

James Harden ($12,600): Harden, the runaway MVP candidate, continues to chug along in DFS, scoring 1.61 FanDuel points per minute over the last month. His season-long average is a pristine 1.60 points per minute, highlighting the remarkable consistency, which has kept his price tag sky high for most of the season. The Houston Rockets are on the road to face the New Orleans Pelicans. Currently, there is no Vegas line set for this game, but the Rockets will likely be favorites with a big implied total. The Pels have given up at least 110 points in every game since February 12th, a span of 17 games. Harden has scored 76.9 and 86.4 FanDuel points in his last two outings, and all signs point to Harden being worth every penny on this four-game slate.
