NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Tuesday 11/6/18

Kemba Walker brings elite offensive volume into a terrific matchup against the Hawks. Which other players should you look to tonight?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate.

Best of the Best

Kemba Walker ($9,200): The Atlanta Hawks' combination of a top-two pace and bottom-10 defensive rating has made them a dreamy fantasy matchup this season. They're allowing the NBA's third-most points and second-most assists per game while also giving up top-five marks in rebounds and steals per game. Kemba is up among the league's best in terms of volume, ranking second in both shots (20.3) and three-point (10.3) attempts per game, and that has him ranking fifth in the NBA with 28.0 real-world points per game. You can't ask for a much better matchup than a date with Atlanta to turn that volume into big fantasy production.
