3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Players to Avoid on 11/30/17

Malcolm Brogdon's role in the Milwaukee Bucks' offense has changed since the arrival of Eric Bledsoe, and his upside takes another hit with a matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. Which other NBA players are worth fading in DFS contests?

In daily fantasy basketball, finding players you want to roster is a lot easier than finding players to avoid.

You can find a ton of great information and research on guys you might want to include in your DFS NBA lineups, but what about guys you may want to lessen your exposure to -- or even fade altogether?

Avoiding players whose matchups or situations aren't as great as they seem can often be just as important as finding the best targets. After all, it only takes one player to sink a lineup. Searching for the landmines could mean the difference from winning or losing your contests.

Malcolm Brogdon, SG, Milwaukee Bucks

FanDuel Price: $5,300

Since the arrival of Eric Bledsoe, Malcolm Brogdon has taken a back seat in the Milwaukee Bucks' offense at times. Not only does he have to deal with that tonight, but Brogdon also has a tough matchup on both ends of the court against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Brogdon hasn't played more than 20 minutes three times since the trade, and even though the most recent game was a blowout, there is still some volatility in his minutes going forward.

He will also have a tough assignment guarding either Damian Lillard or C.J. McCollum. On the flip side, the Blazers have been tough on two-guards, as they're averaging just 0.78 FanDuel points per minute against Portland.

Robin Lopez, C, Chicago Bulls

FanDuel Price: $5,000

Robin Lopez usually plays well against opposing centers, but his matchup against Nikola Jokic is a unique one that may lead to Lopez putting up a bad fantasy night.

In their four meetings against one another, Lopez is shooting just 40% from the floor while averaging 7.3 points and 4.8 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets are also one of just five teams holding opposing centers to below a FanDuel point per minute.

Noah Vonleh, PF, Portland Trail Blazers

FanDuel Price: $4,300

Noah Vonleh has been a machine for the Trail Blazers lately, grabbing double-digit rebounds in four of his last five games and adding a double-double during that time. However, things may start to turn south on him for DFS tonight with Al-Farouq Aminu expected to return and play about 20 minutes, which could cut directly into Vonleh's minutes.

He's played an average of nearly 28 minutes per game over his last five and has been on the court for 31-plus minutes in three of those. With Aminu working his way back into the lineup, Vonleh's minutes are no longer secure, meaning he is probably worth fading.
