NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 11/18/17

James Harden has been on fire and faces a Grizzlies squad he torched just last week. Which other players should you check out on tonight's main slate?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's slate.

Best of the Best

James Harden ($11,800) - Over the last two weeks, Harden has been unstoppable. The Houston Rockets' superstar is averaging 40.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 11.2 assists for 60.1 FanDuel points per game over his last six contests. Going back even further, Harden has been Mr. Consistent with at least 50 FanDuel points in 10 of his previous 12 games, something you want from your high-priced studs. While Harden's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies looks daunting on paper, when the two squads faced off just last Saturday, The Beard posted 38 points and 8 assists for 54.8 FD points. It's also worth noting that the Rockets own the second-highest implied point total of the day at 111.25, meaning there will be plenty of points to go around.
