3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays for 10/27/17

Pascal Siakam is set to draw his second consecutive start in a fantasy-friendly matchup. Who else makes for a strong value play in Friday's NBA DFS contests?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Tim Hardaway Jr., SG, New York Knicks

FanDuel Price: $4,500
Projected FanDuel Points: 26.5
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.77

Tim Hardaway Jr. is off to a horrid start, shooting just 24% from the field in his first three games, but he is confident that things will change for the better. The New York Knicks have the third-highest implied total of the night at 111.25 points, so Hardaway could be in the mix for a productive night on offense.

He presents the second-highest value among all shooting guards playing on Friday.

Pascal Siakam, PF, Toronto Raptors

FanDuel Price: $3,200
Projected FanDuel Points: 17.3
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.42

Pascal Siakam scored a career-high 20 points in his last outing, due in large part to the absence of Jonas Valanciunas. Valanciunas is listed as out for today's game, so Siakam could put up similar stats versus the Los Angeles Lakers, who have the highest pace among all teams playing tonight.

According to our metrics, Siakam is projected with the third-highest value among all power forwards on Friday's slate. Priced at near-minimum salary, he is worth considering as a low-risk flier.

Dewayne Dedmon, C, Atlanta Hawks

FanDuel Price: $4,900
Projected FanDuel Points: 27.4
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.59

Dewayne Dedmon has remained busy as the Atlanta Hawks' new starting big man, averaging 24.7 minutes through his first five games. He is coming off his first double-digit rebounding performance, but is still splitting time with energetic rookie John Collins. Collins is prone to foul trouble, so despite being on the second half of a back-to-back, Dedmon could see ample minutes versus the Denver Nuggets.

Based on our projections, Dedmon has the second-highest value among all centers playing tonight.
