NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 2/11/17

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and depending on injury news, even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer and a handful of other awesome tools to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with a primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's slate.

Best of the Best

Russell Westbrook (FanDuel Price: $12,500): It shouldn't come as a surprise that Westbrook has been the NBA's best fantasy producer this season, leading the league with 30.9 points and adding 10.5 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game. He also leads the league in both usage rate (41.8%) and assist rate (56.6%), and his production isn't likely to slow down soon. The Oklahoma City Thunder draw an uptempo matchup tonight against a Golden State Warriors team that ranks second in the league in pace over the past month. The Warriors will also be on the road on the second-half of a back-to-back, and with OKC sitting as only seven-point underdogs, there's not too much of a blowout risk in this one. We project Westbrook as the top fantasy scorer on the slate.
