Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Monday 12/19/16

It's a light night of NBA games and injuries, but there's still plenty to consider before DFS lineups lock at tip-off.

While there aren't as many big injuries heading into Monday's short slate, there are still some questionable guys that could impact the search for value plays on a night where the pickings are already slim.

Here's what you need to know:

Notable Injuries

Victor Oladipo, Oklahoma City Thunder

The biggest injury right now is not new, as Victor Oladipo will once again be out. This should keep Russell Westbrook's usage sky high, while allowing guys like Jerami Grant, Andre Roberson and Anthony Morrow to be in play, as well.

Jon Leuer, Detroit Pistons

The sneakiest injury on the slate might be Jon Leuer, who might have been flirting with getting a chance to start before getting hurt. He went through shootaround this morning, but is listed as questionable. While Stan Van Gundy said there won't be any lineup changes tonight, Leuer's presence could take away minutes directly from Tobias Harris.

Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls

Taj Gibson is ready to play on Monday after exiting Friday's game early. The injury doesn't appear to be serious, so feel free to roster him.

J.J. Barea, Dallas Mavericks

The biggest surprise for tonight might be Jose Juan Barea, who is listed as questionable. He was initially not expected back until the beginning of the 2017 calendar year, but if he does play, it could seriously impact the Dallas Mavericks backcourt rotation. Stay tuned, but considering that the game isn't until 9:00 P.M. Eastern, we might not know his status before rosters lock.

Lesser Injuries

Rodney Stuckey, Indiana Pacers

Rodney Stuckey and Monta Ellis will once again be out on Monday, which does open up some nice value with the Indiana Pacers. Both Glenn Robinson III and C.J. Miles look like solid value plays and it could give some more usage to Paul George.

Jameer Nelson, Denver Nuggets

Jameer Nelson is set to play after getting knocked out of Saturday's game with a jaw injury. Emmanuel Mudiay also had a big game on Saturday, so it remains to be seen whether Nelson's return will cut into his minutes.

Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards are already one of the league's thinner teams and they could be without two important role players on Monday. Jason Smith is questionable, while Kelly Oubre has been ruled out. If Smith is out, Marcin Gortat will have to play a ton of minutes, as could the rest of the Washington starters.
