NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 12/10/16
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and depending on injury news, even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer and a handful of other awesome tools to help give you an edge.
We'll also be coming at you with a primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.
Let's take a look at who you should target on today's slate.
Best of the Best
Giannis Antetokounmpo (FanDuel Price: $10,300): Giannis has put together an outstanding season, averaging 22.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 2.1 steals and 2.3 blocks per game -- which is arguably the most well-rounded stat-line from any player this season. Nobody else is averaging even 10 points, 5 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. He draws a decent matchup tonight against a Washington Wizards team that ranks 20th in defensive rating. With most of the truly elite high-priced players on this slate having tough matchups, Giannis can offer you top-end production while also saving you some salary cap space.
