Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Thursday 12/1/16

Thursday brings a six-game NBA slate and a ton of injury news to go with it.

There could be a lot of value opening up on Thursday night, with six games and injury news littered all throughout the slate. Finding value and minimum-priced plays might not be that hard and finding the right ones could make a huge difference in how your team performs.

Notable Injuries

Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz might be down a couple of starters tonight, opening some nice value in return. George Hill has already been ruled out, while Rodney Hood is officially questionable with a hamstring injury. If Hood is also out, Gordon Hayward might be in for a huge night and Joe Johnson could also see a bump in minutes. Dante Exum will start in place of Hill, while Shelvin Mack should see some extended run.

Dallas Mavericks

Dirk Nowitzki will continue to be out tonight, but news cropped up this morning that Seth Curry has a sprained knee and will also be out. Since the Dallas Mavericks are playing on no rest, Andrew Bogut will sit tonight, too. Dwight Powell should see a significant bump while Salah Mejri might get a few more minutes as the starting center.

With Deron Williams good to go, he and Devin Harris will be the primary ball handlers tonight.

Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies injury report is a long one. Not only is Mike Conley out, but Memphis will also be missing Zach Randolph, Vince Carter, James Ennis and Chandler Parsons. Andrew Harrison should be a prime value target while Marc Gasol and JaMychal Green will be the heavy lifters in the frontcourt.

Troy Williams, Troy Daniels, Tony Allen and Wade Baldwin IV will also see some more run and those are about the only healthy bodies for the Grizzlies tonight.

Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers

Blake Griffin missed Tuesday's game with a sore knee, but the Los Angeles Clippers were playing the Brooklyn Nets and tonight they are playing the Cleveland Cavaliers. No news is good news, so I suspect Griffin will be back in this primetime showdown.

Josh Richardson, Miami Heat

The Miami Heat were just starting to get healthier, but Josh Richardson is out tonight due to an ankle injury. The MIami wing should be very thin, as Rodney McGruder and Wayne Ellington should see a bump in playing time alongside Tyler Johnson.

Lesser Injuries

Jeremy Lamb, Charlotte Hornets

Jeremy Lamb is listed as questionable with knee soreness. He might be headed for a game-time decision, but if he is out, expect Marco Belinelli and Nicolas Batum to see a few more minutes.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Brooklyn Nets

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was ruled probable on Wednesday, but did not get off the bench. It remains to be seen what they will do with him tonight, but he is definitely not a safe play.

Nene Hilario, Houston Rockets

Nene Hilario is playing on the second half of a back-to-back and will not play due to rest. Clint Capela will likely pick up a few extra minutes because of this and might be a fine contrarian DFS option.
