5 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 12/1/16

Coming off a big game, Andrew Harrison should continue to see extended minutes with Mike Conley out of action.

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup tonight.

Andrew Harrison, PG, Memphis Grizzlies

FanDuel Price: $3,900
Projected FanDuel Points: 21.1
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.41

Andrew Harrison immediately made his case as the biggest beneficiary from the absence of Mike Conley, as Harrison scored a career-high 21 points to go along with 4 three-pointers on 58% shooting last night. It's too early to know if Harrison will continue scoring at a high rate, but it looks like he will see massive minutes (35 last night) as the interim starting point guard.

The Memphis Grizzlies host the Orlando Magic, who offer the sixth-best matchup to opposing point guards among teams playing tonight. Harrison will be matched up against a dinged up Magic backcourt, as Elfrid Payton will give it a go with an ankle injury.

J.J. Redick, SG, Los Angeles Clippers

FanDuel Price: $4,300
Projected FanDuel Points: 19.6
Projected FanDuel Value: 4.56

J.J. Redick and the rest of the Los Angeles Clippers will be on full alert as they are riding an uncharacteristic three-game losing streak. Redick had his worst output of the season two games ago, totaling just 5 points, but he bounced back quickly with an 18-point performance the next game.

The Clippers visit the Cleveland Cavaliers, who offer the best matchup to opposing shooting guards among teams playing tonight. Redick should see more open shots tonight as the team welcomes back Blake Griffin (rest) into the lineup.

Michael Beasley, SF, Milwaukee Bucks

FanDuel Price: $3,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 19.3
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.22

Michael Beasley is slowly but surely delivering in his role as a scorer off the bench. In his past six games, Beasley has averaged 11.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in only 19 minutes per game. Furthermore, Beasley is coming off a season-high in minutes (26) and points (17) in a big home win versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Milwaukee Bucks visit the Brooklyn Nets, who offer the best matchup to opposing small forwards among teams playing tonight. The Nets rank next to last in defensive efficiency and are second in pace -- pretty much an ideal team to target.

Ryan Anderson, PF, Houston Rockets

FanDuel Price: $4,400
Projected FanDuel Points: 23.6
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.35

Ryan Anderson has been heating up with averages of 12.8 points and 2.8 three-pointers made during his past four games. Though he's shied away from the boards recently, Anderson is still pulling down 5.4 rebounds per game on the season.

The Houston Rockets play the Golden State Warriors, who offer the second-best matchup to opposing power forwards among teams playing tonight. Anderson should be firing away in a game with an over/under of 231 points, easily the highest total of the night.

Greg Monroe, C, Milwaukee Bucks

FanDuel Price: $4,600
Projected FanDuel Points: 24.5
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.33

Greg Monroe has been keeping busy the past week as his production has trended upwards after a mid-November slump. Monroe is averaging 11.0 points and 7.7 rebounds in 20.4 minutes in his past three games. Though John Henson remains the starting center, Monroe looks to be re-establishing himself as a key contributor.

The Bucks visit the Nets, who offer the best matchup to opposing centers among teams playing tonight. The Bucks have the second-highest implied total tonight at 110.5 points, so Monroe is in a nice spot to keep up his recent production.
