NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 11/13/16
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and depending on injury news, even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer and a handful of other awesome tools to help give you an edge.
We'll also be coming at you with a primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.
Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 7 p.m. EST and features four games.
Best of the Best
Stephen Curry ($8,900): The Golden State Warriors have an insanely good home matchup with the Phoenix Suns, who are leading the league in pace. The game boasts an over/under of 230, the highest of the slate by 13.5 points, and the Warriors' implied total is an eye-popping 123 points. With just four games on the main slate, you're going to have to at least dip your toes into this one even if you don't want to overexpose yourself to what should be the night's most heavily-owned game. With Phoenix allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing point guards, Curry -- who is averaging 46.9 FanDuel points over his last three contests -- is as good of a bet as anyone to have a big night. The only worry here is the potential of a blowout as Golden State is a massive 16-point favorite.
