5 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 11/8/16

Tim Hardaway Jr. will look to fill the scoring void in the absence of Kyle Korver. Which other low-cost players are worth checking out?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup tonight.

Langston Galloway, PG, New Orleans Pelicans

FanDuel Price: $3,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 16.5

Langston Galloway has been very productive in his past three games off the bench, averaging 13.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 27 minutes in that span. Starting point guard Tim Frazier has seen his numbers ebb and flow as of late, which could result in more time for Galloway in tonight's second game of a back-to-back set. The New Orleans Pelicans visit the Sacramento Kings, who are ranked fifth in defensive efficiency, so it's a nice spot.

Tim Hardaway Jr., SG, Atlanta Hawks

FanDuel Price: $3,600
Projected FanDuel Points: 14.5

Tim Hardaway Jr. should see increased time on the court tonight because Kyle Korver will be out of the lineup visiting his newborn son. Hardaway Jr. doesn't do much else but score points, but he is making the most of his opportunities this season, averaging 19.0 points in games in which he's seen 20-plus minutes. The Atlanta Hawks visit the Cleveland Cavaliers, who give up the fifth-most points per game to opposing shooting guards this season, giving Hardaway a pretty enticing ceiling.

Bojan Bogdanovic, SF, Brooklyn Nets

FanDuel Price: $4,200
Projected FanDuel Points: 19.4

Bojan Bogdanovic has been slightly relegated on the offensive end due to the emergence of Sean Kilpatrick, but he is still seeing his usual number of attempts from the field and the free throw line. Bogdanovic is the third leading scorer on the Brooklyn Nets with an average of 15.2 points on the season, which is on pace to be a career high, and the Nets host the Minnesota Timberwolves, who give up the fourth-most points to opposing small forwards.

Al-Farouq Aminu, PF, Portland Trail Blazers

FanDuel Price: $4,800
Projected FanDuel Points: 22.9

Al-Farouq Aminu has struggled scoring the ball thus far, dropping in an average of 7.0 points on 27% shooting from the field and 53% shooting from the free throw line. However, he's been decent elsewhere with 7.6 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. Aminu is still averaging a high dosage of minutes with 29.2 per game, and he will look to score double digits for just the second time tonight as the Portland Trail Blazers host the Phoenix Suns, who give up the third-most FanDuel points per game to opposing power forwards.

Timofey Mozgov, C, Los Angeles Lakers

FanDuel Price: $3,900
Projected FanDuel Points: 20.0

Over his brief eye injury, Timofey Mozgov had his best game of the season on Sunday with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. In the four games where he's seen 20-plus minutes, Mozgov is recording 10.5 points and 6.8 rebounds -- both on pace for career highs. The red-hot Los Angeles Lakers will look to stay undefeated at home versus the Dallas Mavericks, who give up the fourth-most points per game to opposing centers.
