NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 11/6/16

Rookie Jaylen Brown blew up in his first start, and his salary doesn't reflect his new role. Which other players should we check out for NBA DFS?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and depending on injury news, even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer and a handful of other awesome tools to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with a primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. EST and features four games.

Best of the Best

Kyle Lowry ($7,500): Lowry has gotten off to something of a slow start, but this may be the night he gets rolling. He is our top projected point guard and our second-ranked overall player for today's main slate. The Toronto Raptors have a dope home matchup with the Sacramento Kings, who rank 27th this year in defensive rating and are on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Lowry is averaging 32 FanDuel points per game and should feast on Ty Lawson. Even though both of these teams sit in the bottom six in pace, Lowry's insane 38.0 minutes per game ensures the volume will be there.
