5 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 11/1/16

With a slew of games tonight, there are value plays aplenty. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is one for his dreamy matchup with the New York Knicks.

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup tonight.

Matthew Dellavedova, PG, Milwaukee Bucks

FanDuel Price: $4,600
Projected FanDuel Points: 19.6

Matthew Dellavedova is off to a productive start. He's averaged 11.7 points, 5.7 assists and 2.7 rebounds in three games with the Milwaukee Bucks. Though his usage rate this season of 15.5% has been relatively on par with his career average of 14.2%, Dellavedova is on pace to set career-high totals thanks to the 32.1 minutes per game he's logged thus far. That kind of run makes him an attractive play at this salary.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, SG, Detroit Pistons

FanDuel Price: $4,500
Projected FanDuel Points: 23.0

After a slow start offensively, it looks like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope may be finding his touch with a 21-point outing in his most recent game. On the defensive end, Caldwell-Pope has two steals in each of the first three games. He plays tonight versus the New York Knicks, who commit the seventh-most turnovers on average in the league. His floor may be higher than usual thanks to the matchup, and his ceiling could really rise if he replicates his most recent offensive performance.

C.J. Miles, SF, Indiana Pacers

FanDuel Price: $3,800
Projected FanDuel Points: 19.3

C.J. Miles has been producing in a limited role off the bench as a three-point specialist. In just under 18 minutes per game, Miles is averaging 10.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals. He is just a notch above minimum salary and plays versus the Los Angeles Lakers, who allow the seventh-most points per game to opponents. The Lakers are going to be a team to target this year, and while the upside here isn't massive, Miles is always good for a couple red-hot shooting games each season. Maybe you catch lightning in a bottle tonight.

JaMychal Green, PF, Memphis Grizzlies

FanDuel Price: $4,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 15.5

JaMychal Green hasn't had his breakout game yet as a new starter this season, but he has put up respectable numbers of 9.7 points and 7 rebounds per game. With 32.8 minutes per game, Green will have a chance to record a double-double tonight versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, who rank 29th in pace right behind the Memphis Grizzlies. The safe floor at this price helps compensate for the limiting upside.

Mason Plumlee, C, Portland Trail Blazers

FanDuel Price: $4,900
Projected FanDuel Points: 27.2

Mason Plumlee got off to a rough start in his season opener, but he has quickly found his groove, posting averages of 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks over his past two games. In addition, he's shot the ball at a 71% clip during that span and will be featured in today's nightcap as his team takes on the Golden State Warriors. This is a game to target as it contains two of the 10 fastest-paced teams in the league and boasts an over/under of 225. There should be plenty of possessions for Plumlee to rack up quality numbers.
