The 2015 NBA Draft Lottery: Team Odds and Likely Scenarios
Who has the best odds at landing a franchise-changing talent in the draft lottery?

Minnesota Timberwolves

Record: 16-66
Chance of #1 Pick: 25.0%

The Timberwolves already have their franchise player of the future in Andrew Wiggins and have also built a nice young nucleus around him. Gorgui Dieng, Zach Lavine, Shabazz Muhammad, and Adreian Payne are all young players who have solid potential in the NBA.

The Timberwolves have really solid young prospects at all positions, so they would be wise to go with the best player available. With Nikola Pekovic seemingly always dealing with injury, averaging just 52 games a year in his five-year career, Karl Anthony-Towns and Jahlil Okafor, the consensus top-two in the draft, are the best choices for the Wolves.

Building on their highly athletic young roster, the Wolves could be best served to go with Towns. He would give the Wolves a strong post presence and give Ricky Rubio another athletic young player to work with.

A duo of Wiggins and Anthony-Towns, both under 21 years old, would bode very well for the future of the Timberwolves.
