3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 4/1/19
Ben Simmons will be asked to do more in the absence of Joel Embiid. Can he pay off his price tag tonight against the Mavericks?

Devin Booker, PG/SG, Phoenix Suns

DraftKings Price: $10,100

As we near the end of the season, the number of superstars subject to load management seems to be increasing exponentially. Of course, on teams that haven't competed all season, there is little -- if any -- reason to rest their best players. The Phoenix Suns are one such team, and Devin Booker has been playing his best ball of the season over the past few games.

Booker's last week hasn't been just good; it has been Harden-esque. The fourth-year player has put up 59, 50, and 48 (real) points in his past three games and no fewer than 54.5 DraftKings points in his past four. Only six other players in NBA history have scored 48 or more points at least three games in a row (Wilt Chamberlain had 12 such streaks!).

This barrage has raised his per-game scoring average from 25.6 to 26.9, moving him from 13th to 8th in the league in scoring. If the Suns continue to let him shoot at will, he could legitimately move all the way up to second before the season ends. He'd need to average about 45.8 points over his remaining five games in order to do so, but don't put it past him.

Tonight, he faces the Cleveland Cavaliers in a game that has no use for defense. The Cavs have given up at least 116 points in each of their past four games, while the Suns have given up that many in six of their past seven. Expect Booker to take advantage of the situation and throw up around 30 shots once more. For his potential output, $10,100 is a steal.
