After languishing for months as David Fizdale's pawn in the New York Knicks' tanking game, Kanter has finally been able to show his offensive firepower since moving to the Blazers less than two weeks ago. Though he's played an average of just 20 minutes per game off the bench in his first two games, he's put up starter's numbers. He opened his Portland career with 18 points and 9 boards against the Brooklyn Nets, following that up with a 16-point, 8-board, 4-dime performance in a resounding win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
