James Harden is questionable with a strained neck, so keep an eye on his status closer to lineup lock, but if he plays then he's someone you're going to want in your lineup.

Harden sat out the last game for the Houston Rockets, but that doesn't change how dominant his production has been. He may not be the nightly lock for 60-plus FanDuel points that he was with Chris Paul on the shelf, but he's still averaging 57.4 per game in nine contests with Paul back. That mark beats the season-averages for everyone in the NBA except Harden and Anthony Davis (now a fantasy non-factor).

His matchup tonight makes this a particularly appealing spot to play Harden as well, since the Atlanta Hawks are as fantasy-friendly a foe as you'll find.

The Hawks play at the fastest pace in the NBA while also sitting only 27th in defensive rating. That leaves them not only allowing the most points and assists per game to opponents, but they give up over a full point and a full assist per game more than any other team. They also turn the ball over a ton, allowing 10.4 steals per game while nobody else in the NBA allows more than 9.1.

Leading the league in points per game while also sitting fifth in assists and third in steals per game, Harden should have no issues dropping some serious numbers tonight. If he's cleared to play, he's the day's top fantasy option in any format.
