5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 2/22/19
Wesley Matthews has posted modest results since joining the Pacers but draws a plus matchup against the Pelicans on Friday. Who else could be a potential value play on FanDuel tonight?

JaMychal Green, PF, Los Angeles Clippers

FanDuel Price: $4,300
Projected FanDuel Points: 21.3
Projected FanDuel Value: 4.94

After an inauspicious first game after being traded away from the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers forward JaMychal Green settled down and put up promising results for his new team in the two games leading up to the All-Star break, finishing with an average of 9.5 points, 7.0 boards, and 24.2 FanDuel points.

He'll look to continue that success tonight, and he'll have extra motivation given that the Clippers will travel to Tennessee to take on Green's former team. That's right, it's the coveted JaMychal Green revenge game!

Frankly, I've not read any paper that shows statistically significant differences in performances in such games, but it's certainly a fun way to build lineups. Sure, money's generally involved in DFS, but it also needs to be fun, and seeking out these types of games -- for me at least -- is a fun way to build lineups. One of the bonuses of FanDuel's best ball system is that it lets you add in that type of fun risk to your lineups without necessarily hurting your team; given that your lowest score gets dropped, you can roll the dice on guys like Green and watch them try to dominate their old teammates.

Our models think he'll continue his recent success tonight. We have him projected for 21.3 FanDuel points at a salary of only $4,300, a return of just over 4.9 points per $1,000.
