Karl-Anthony Towns has dominated in his last two outings against the Pelicans. Can we expect him to do the same on Friday?

Karl-Anthony Towns, C, Minnesota Timberwolves

Price: $11,200

The return of Davis isn't a huge concern on the other side of this matchup, as the Pels have allowed top-12 fantasy efficiency to opposing centers over the entire season. New Orleans ranks 6th in the pace and only 23rd in defensive rating, which leaves them giving up the NBA's 5th-most points per game.

Karl-Anthony Towns has played New Orleans three times this season. His first game was nothing special, notching 49.7 fantasy points, but he then went off for at least 70 (70.4 and 78.9) in each of the next two. Those are his fourth- and second-highest single-game fantasy scores of the year.

You don't need to rely on that small sample-size to justify Towns as a top play tonight either. As I mentioned, the Pelicans come across as a solid matchup at the five regardless, and Towns is showing his usual upside in recent games. He has 60-plus fantasy points in four of his last nine, and he's not likely to slow down in this spot.
