One week ago today, Russell Westbrook and Paul George decided to put on a show when the Oklahoma City Thunder visited the Orlando Magic
at the Amway Center. Tonight they'll get a chance to repeat their
performances as the two teams face off again in Oklahoma City.
It's
not just the Magic against whom Westbrook has had recent success either; he's
been destroying most teams that have been unfortunate enough to cross
his path. Westbrook has scored 60-plus DraftKings points six times in
his past 10 games and is currently on a six-game triple-double streak. Another triple-double this evening would tie him with Michael Jordan for the longest trip-dub streak of all time.
Westbrook's recent performance against the Magic didn't come out of nowhere. He's scored 66.0 or more DraftKings points seven out of the past eight times that he's faced Orlando, a stretch which included five games of 70-plus DraftKings points. We currently have him projected for 58.5 DraftKings points this evening, but that could easily act as a floor given his history against the Magic.
