Allonzo Trier, SG, New York Knicks

FanDuel Price: $4,000
Projected FanDuel Points: 27.2
Projected FanDuel Value: 6.80

Following yesterday's blockbuster trade, the New York Knicks are now without Kristaps Porzingis, Courtney Lee and -- most relevant for tonight's action -- Tim Hardaway Jr.. Their newly-acquired players will not make their debut on Friday, making a thin Knicks' rotation the best place to look for value tonight.

Already averaging 24.2 minutes and 25.2 FanDuel points per game over his last seven, Trier has typically been the first guard off the bench in New York, and appears poised to make a (temporary) move into the starting lineup.

Is he going to keep producing at a clip of 1.04 fantasy points per minute? Almost assuredly not, especially in tonight's matchup against the Boston Celtics and their second-ranked defensive rating. But that's not a big deal.

There's plenty of room for Trier's efficiency to drop off and still offer value, and even if he produces around the 0.79 fantasy point-per-minute clip that he's averaging in his young career, he should see enough playing time to pay off this salary.

Hardaway vacates an average of about 32.0 minutes per game, and Trier has made three starts this season, playing at least 32 minutes in two of those games. If he gets 32 minutes it would only take an average of 0.63 fantasy points per minute to return 5-times value (5.0 points per $1,000), and our models project him as the top point-per-dollar value on the slate.
