Despite Anthony Davis' continued absence, one of the premier matchups of the night will happen at the Smoothie King Center as the Denver Nuggets travel to take on the New Orleans Pelicans. The Nuggets have dealt with a bevy of injuries this season--including ones to starters Will Barton and Gary Harris--but they enter tonight's contest with the second-best record in the Western Conference, thanks in large part to the stellar play of center Nikola Jokic.

Jokic is, by all accounts, is having a career season. His 20.1 points, 7.6 assists, and 1.4 steals are all personal bests. The assists are enough to rank sixth in the league and make him only the second seven-footer in league history to average seven or more assists, the other being the illustrious Wilt Chamberlain.

Jokic is averaging a respectable 49.1 DraftKings points against the Pelicans this season, and he'll need another big performance tonight should the Nuggets hope to take down New Orleans, who was a surprise winner at Houston last night.
