It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that James Harden tops the list of studs for today -- especially with Anthony Davis expected to be on the shelf for a couple of weeks.

Harden and Davis are largely in a class of their own for fantasy production. On the season, Harden is second only to Davis with 58.4 FanDuel points per game, while nobody else averages even 55.0. If we narrow our view to a more recent window, Harden is averaging an absurd 67.3 per game over his last 20 contests. That's more than Davis has averaged in that time (65.5 per game), and the NBA's next-best mark in that stretch is only 55.8 per game. Davis' absence truly puts Harden a tier above anyone else right now.

Not that you need Harden to have a great matchup to be in play at this point, but it certainly doesn't hurt that he's up against the New York Knicks tonight.

The Knicks have the league's second-worst defensive rating, allowing the third-most points, second-most assists and second-most rebounds per game to opponents this season.

The Houston Rockets are also fairly modest 7.5-point favorites, meaning the blowout risk isn't too much of a concern either.
